Self Portrait and Portraits Part II

Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.

Use your imagination! A self-portrait can reveal a lot about you, by including props and even other people that are meaningful in your life. If you've never attempted to shoot a self-portrait, expand your creative horizons and give it a try.

A self-portrait doesn't have to be of your face—the image of two hands holding a camera says a lot about the photographer who shot his own portrait. You can also aim the camera down your body from eye level. I once took a photo of my own feet in hiking shoes, hanging over the edge of a rocky outcropping in a scenic spot (if you try something like this, just make sure you're in a safe place that you won't fall from). A picture like this will say a lot about your activities and surroundings.

“Environmental portrait”

I really liked the atmosphere of the photos because the photographer managed to capture all around, plus they are very good and colorful.

 “photography self portrait”

These pictures are very good, I really liked the idea of the photographer to photograph himself, the photos are very original and express many things when you see them.

 “casual portrait”

I like these pictures because they are simple and casual photos, but with a different meaning I think that the simpler a photo will be more significant.
