Lytro warm-up & Ethics in Fashion photography

  Lytro Warm-Up

1. What did you see happen when you clicked on the photo? when I click on the picture moves, it blurs into certain areas and if it has any effect changes.

2. How does this new camera work? This camera lets you capture photos and also do whatever you want with them, you can change view photo and play with different perspectives, this camera lets you create photos exactly the perspective you want.

3. What do you think a photographer would have to know about to take this kind of photo (remember its a point-and-shoot, so its full manual mode, what do you need to know about)I think what the photographer had to know is on the focus of the camera.

 4. Is it worth the money?I think so, worth spending the money, because besides that is not very expensive, you can do whatever you want with your photos, that I personally still prefer a normal camera, but this is still good I think it's a little easier to use.

FASHION

1. List the changes that were made to the model's face in the computer. (Look carefully)
They changed the lips, neck, hair, eyes, face shape and some color on the face

2. Is it ethically acceptable to change a person's appearance like this in a photo? Why or why not?
In my opinion I think it is acceptable in some cases, in this case benefits the makeup company, but deceives people, the person who came at first did not stand to the one in the photo because it changed all features partly wrong, because sometimes should put the natural beauty, but it is a makeup model person then the picture has to give the impression of perfection, and it may be acceptable to them and to the people who run that type business of fashion.

3. Are there circumstances in which it would be more ethically wrong to do this type of manipulation?Yes, in many cases this could be more ethically wrong, for example in photojournalism.

4. What types of changes are OK, and what aren't?I think that the kinds of changes that are good should be more simple, because there are some who seriously change the real picture completely and I think that's not the idea, fashionable cases I think there is such a problem, as it would in other photos.

5. Explain what you think the differences are between fashion photography and Photojournalism. fashion photography can be manipulated without bad consequences for it, photo journalistic images can get to make a very big problem if manipulated, so it is journalism that can not exaggerate or invent things that actually happen.

6. What relationship does each type of photography have to reality, and how does this affect the ethical practice of each?Fashion photography I think is very unreal because it is fashionable, and for many people means not affect much perfection and ethically, photojournalism is totally in reality, if you change it you might have a lot of problems, because it is not ethical.
