Lenses and Photography Vocabulary.

I would use a telephoto lens to take a picture of the moon.

I would use a prime lens to take pictures of things or people who are close to the camera.

I would use a wide-angle lens to take pictures of things with an interesting background, such as landscapes.

Depth of Field (shallow and wide) the distance in front of and beyond the subject that appears to be in focus.
Light (angle and intensity)use light in their photographic compositions, sometimes taking advantage of the natural light of their surroundings
Shadows is the opposite of Exposure.
Diffusion is when the image is projected through a material that isn't quite perfectly clear.

Shutter speed
ISO
