I would use a telephoto lens to take a picture of the moon.

Depth of Field (shallow and wide) the distance in front of and beyond the subject that appears to be
in focus.
Light (angle and intensity)use light in their photographic compositions, sometimes taking advantage of the natural light of their surroundings
Shadows is the opposite of Exposure.
Diffusion is when the image is projected through a
material that isn't quite perfectly clear.
